The Dearborn Surgery Center is a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center with immediate openings for Certified Surgical Assistants. We are offering full time, part time and contingent positions working Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays.
Job Description: Provide assisting skills in multiple surgical services. Participates in retracting, suctioning, suturing and tying. Assists in patient positioning and performs surgical site prep according to surgeon preferences and site policies. Assists staffing team with clean-up of room and set up of cases. Assists staffing team with set-up for the next OR case.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist First Assistant program, Current BLS required. Experience preferred, especially with total joint replacements.
