Perry L. Lange
Perry Lange is currently the Clinical Leader for LifeNet Health Cardiovascular
Services where he previously served as the divisional Vice President from 2005
through 2016. Mr. Lange graduated with honors from the University of California,
Berkeley in 1979. Following his work as an instructor at Old Dominion University in
Norfolk, VA, he looked to begin a medical career by completing the Surgical
Assistant Program at Eastern Virginia Medical School. After several successful years
working as a CSA in the Hampton Roads and Richmond areas, he applied his
surgical training and skills and embarked on a bright new career working in the
Human Organ and Tissue Services. Mr. Lange furthered his education while working
at LifeNet, earning a Master of Business Administration at the University of
Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Throughout his time at LifeNet Health, Mr. Lange has served in senior management
positions for Tissue Processing, Client Development, Sales and Marketing, and led
their Sports Medicine and Cardiovascular Divisions. As a speaking representative of
LifeNet Health, he has also appeared on numerous television programs, including
“National Geographic Explorer” and the History Channel’s “Modern Marvels”.
Mr. Lange has spoken internationally, authored several book chapters and co-
authored over 25 publications. He served three terms on the American Association
of Tissue Bank’s Board of Governors, and in September 2010, he was awarded the
AATB’s highest award, the Jeanne Mowe Distinguished Lifetime Service Award.
